Fire This is the fireplace in my living room. I decided to take some pictures of it, and this one was my favorite. It's a gas fire, so we turn it on and off with a light switch on the wall. I really like fire. It excites me. I also just like burning things.

Feline Friend I took this picture a while ago, towards the begging of the school year. I was on a field trip for my photography class. We went to Seattle. My friend and I were just walking around when we saw a homeless man with a cat. We stopped and asked if we could pet her and he said yes. There was another women there that said she saw them everyday and gave the man food for himself and for his cat. I can't remember the cat's name, but she was super friendly. The man told us he found her when she was a kitten, and she's never left his side since then.

Attemption For this picture, I was trying to take a picture like Steve Fitch's neon prints. I like how it came out, but I wish I had gone back out at night, so I could capture the brightness of the lights more. I did mess with some settings on the camera, I can't remember which one (something about lighting). And that's what gave the little flare on the right side of the light.

Sky Waves I love this picture. I love taking pictures of the sky, there are just so many different possibilities you can get. For this picture, I just wanted to see if the sun would create a unique shadow on the clouds. I love what happened. The clouds make it look like there's an ocean in the sky.

Sun Flares This is a road in my neighborhood. I decided to take a picture here because the sun was shinning from the left side, so I thought it would make a nice picture. And it did. I love the little flares of colored light. I like it when that happens. Anything I would have done differently, would have just been to take more. This was the only picture like this that I took.

Look at the Clouds I love how this picture came out. I love that the top starts out dark, then fades out light. I love looking at the clouds. They remind me of freedom, and freedom is very important to me. I don't think I did anything special to take this, and I don't I have anything  would have done differently.
